Music Ministry

Purpose

The Music Department of Bethany Baptist Church ministers the Word of God through voices, musical instruments, mime and the Sign Ministry for the Deaf. We purpose to make sure that all music that is ministered is done so according to the Word of God, in agreement with the Word of God and to the Honor and Glory of God. We also see our purpose as one in which we are called to minister and bring the people of God before His Face in worship and to bring unbelievers to their knees crying out, "What must I do to be saved?"

• Deaf Ministry For too long there has been a gap between the Gospel and the hearing impaired. This ministry has taken the steps necessary to bridge that gap by providing a team of interpreters to do sign language during morning worship every Sunday morning.€€
• Genesis Young Adult choir committed to honoring God through worship and praise. Choir sings at least once a month on the fourth Sunday.€€
• The Son Shiners The choir is open to children from nine to twelve years old. Rehearsals are Friday 7:30 pm.€€
• Voices Of Praise The choir proclaims and uplifts the name of Jesus Christ through song. The songs vary from anthems, spirituals and contemporary praise. Rehearsals are Thursday at 7:00 P.M.€€
