Resurrection Week Thought

THE TOMB IS EMPTY BUT MY HEART IS OCCUPIED

As a result of the empty tomb the hearts of believers are filled with the presence of Christ. Paul said, “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye being rooted and grounded in love” (Eph. 3:17). Christ dwells in our hearts. The word “dwell” katoikeo means to “inhabit a house.” In this verse it means more than being inside the house of our hearts, it means to be at home and settled in as a family member. Thank God Christ is not in the tomb, but the question is, “Is He at home and settled in your heart?”
