Letha Hill was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 11, 1938. She was the daughter of Herbert J. and Wilhelmina Jones- Malbrough. On Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 11:47a.m. Letha Hill was called
peacefully to God’s heavenly home.
Letha committed her life to the Lord and was baptized on June 3, 1967 at the Perris Fifth St. Seventh-day Adventist Church in Perris, California.
Letha was one out of 3 children. Her two brothers were Herbert Malbrough, Jr. and Leo Green. She received her nursing certification as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California on January 2, 1964. In 1971, she received her bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology from Loma Linda University. Letha retired from Kaiser Permanente Fontana after working for 25 years.
She was dedicated to the church. She loved to sing in the choir and participate in church functions and fed the homeless. She believed Jesus was her Personal Savior and she always prayed for family, friends, and for those in need. She lived in California for most of her life and lived in Pittsburgh, Pa for five years. Letha loved to travel. She traveled to the Caribbean, Israel, Rome, Spain, and most of Europe. She loved camping, fishing, and boating. She also loved to visit national parks in the United States.
Letha Hill leaves to mourn her passing four children: Marrell Pilgram, Rhonda Johnson, Kim Pilgram, and Eric Hill and two granddaughters: Britteny P. Johnson and LaToya C. Johnson and a host of extended family and friends.
