Nikki is currently working on her full debut CD with producer, Jerome Kirkland.  Her single “No One Like You” is available on iTunes, Amazon, CD Baby, Google Music and Bandcamp.  The song has received great reviews and airplay on radio stations across the country.  Her new single, “Highest Praise” is slated to release this summer.  Prior to these releases, Nikki locally distributed a 3- song maxi-single in 2004, and has been featured on numerous recordings singing lead and background vocals. Nikki’s full-time vocation is Head of Staff and Minister of Music at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, PA a cross-cultural inner-city congregation.  There she leads worship, directs the praise teams and choirs, teaches private voice lessons in the church’s after-school music program for youth, The Judah Project, which she established in 2005.  Nikki received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, where she also studied courses in jazz voice with Maureen Budway and piano.  In addition, she studied advanced piano and music theory privately with Dr. Alton Merrell and completed several courses at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary pursuing a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. Nikki is happily married to Rev. Raymond Porter, Jr., an Associate Pastor of Potter’s House Ministries in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where Bishop Otis L. Carswell is the Senior Pastor.  She joined her husband in membership at Potter’s House upon their marriage in July 2006.  Prior to that, she was a member for sixteen years of Pentecostal Temple Church of God in Christ, where Bishop Loran E. Mann is the Senior Pastor.  Nikki and Raymond, Jr. are the proud parents of a six-year-old boy, Raymond III, and they reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
