Edward Slonchka attended the Faith Community World Outreach Center Seminary and mission training school. He also is a graduate and a coordinator of the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course. Ed and Lorrie have been involved in short term missions since their first mission trip to Guatemala in 1986. The Lord used this trip to place a call on their lives to serve the nations. They have led outreaches to Jamaica, Haiti, Kenya, Crow Indian Reservation and New York as well as providing assistance to international students, refugee families, and the homeless.
Brother Ed is the President and founder of the Global Reach Network, a ministry that serves the Body of Christ and provides cross culture training, disaster relief and short term mission opportunities. He is a lead facilitator for the Pittsburgh Network for the Great Commission and Vice President of Alumni for the New York School of Urban Ministry. Ed is also a board member of the Asante Yesu Mission Agency and Chaplain for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. Lorrie and Edward have been married for 28 years and their desire is to bring glory to God.
