Our Pastor

Message from the Pastor

Pastor Dr. William R. GlazeIn the midst of the dry hot Judean wilderness is a place of refreshment—a place called Engedi. It is a great tourist attraction for Holy Land visitors because it has a lavish flowing waterfall that makes it an oasis in the middle of the desert. Sometimes life can be like a desert and we need a place to go to be refreshed and restored.

It is our hope that Bethany Baptist Church is an oasis for all those who come through the doors. We want to be a refuge from a dry and barren world—especially for lost and hurting people who can be regenerated through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to provide a refreshing cup of cold water for those who are thirsting spiritually, physically and emotionally. We want to see families and youth invigorated to honor and serve God. Most of all we are set up to provide encouragement and opportunities for those who have been refreshed to go forth and use their gifts to minister to other thirsty souls.

Thank you for visiting our website and if we can be of any assistance to you please feel free to contact or visit us.

  1. Dear Rev. Dr. Pastor Glaze,

I just discovered your great article on Racism and Curse of Canaan. Your glorious appeal was written in 1984, but now is more timely and urgent than ever in light of our country being aflame in racism. I am writing a book on Calvin and Abraham Kuyper, who globally promote the myth of the Curse of Ham on all Blacks. I would love to send you an excerpt if you would like to view it. My passion is yours. Were the Church to have followed the example of Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch, we might never have had racism and White Supremacy as a central pillar in Christianity.

Thank you for your work and ministry!

    Kindest regards in Christ,
